How can I participate in the EHF EURO 2022 matches?
Supporters with a valid ticket or bundle can attend the matches with a certificate of immunity or a negative PCR test no more than 72 hours old. This means that fans who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus can attend the event with a negative test.
How do I enter the arena?
Proof of immunity or a Hungarian or English language document confirming a negative PCR test result no more than 72 hours old must be presented at the designated Covid-checkpoint. (We also accept the Hungarian health application, EESZT, at the checkpoint.) Upon presentation of a valid ticket or bundle, all supporters will receive a wristband for entry to the event.

In the case of a family ticket, children over the age of 12 must wear a wristband and prove their immunity. If a child under the age of 12 arrives at the match, they will not be required to collect the wristband, but will be required to prove entitlement to the family allowance upon entry.
Wristbands cannot be taken over by power of attorney.
As there is a huge interest in the matches, especially the Hungarian national team, all fans are kindly requested to arrive on time. It is advisable to collect the wristbands the day before the match to avoid interruptions.
What happens if my wristband is damaged?
A damaged wristband can be replaced at any wristband point upon presentation of the damaged wristband and a valid ticket.
Is my ticket valid only in print or can it be presented electronically on a mobile phone?
Tickets redeemed for EHF EURO 2022 can also be presented on paper and on a working mobile phone with an undamaged display, provided the barcode is legible and valid for the entry system and there are no barriers to entry.
If I have a bundle for the EHF EURO 2022, do I only collect the wristband band once?
Yes, if you arrive at the checkpoint with an immunity certificate, you will receive a textile wristband valid for the duration of the EHF EURO 2022. If you prove your protection with a PCR test or the immunity certificate expires during the tournament, it is necessary to collect the wristband before each match.
What rules apply to persons under the age of 18?
Persons over 12 years of age are required to provide proof of immunity against the coronavirus, or must show a negative PCR test within 72 hours. Children under 12 years of age may attend the event under the supervision of a person over 18 years of age who has provided proof of immunity against the coronavirus.
No more than ten persons under the age of 12 may be under the supervision of a person over the age of 18.
Do I have to wear a mask during the event?
Entering and staying in the building is only permitted in a FFP2 mask covering both the nose and the mouth. Exceptions are places designated for eating and drinking, where it is allowed to take off the FFP2 mask during consuming food or drink. The visitors are obliged to ensure FFP2 masks for themselves. The Organisers will provide FFP2 masks for visitors at the time of entry.
Each viewer must wear FFP2 mask throughout the territory of the Event exempt for those who have not reached the age of 6, as well as persons with intellectual or psychosocial disabilities or autism spectrum disorder!
Will there be a Fan Zone on site?
Yes!
On every match day in Budapest, we will be waiting for handball fans with catering service, activities, quizzes and of course a joint match viewing in the Fan Zone next to the Budapest handball arena.
Among other things, you can try out the Watch Games.See More. handball skills test, an adventure park with the latest digital equipment, a multiball set up with the support of the Hungarian Student Sports Federation and a special commentator's stand.
Access to the Fan Zone is possible with a valid Budapest daily ticket or bundle.

When should I not go to the match?
We ask for your understanding and cooperation: if you have any symptoms of illness, fever or are not feeling well, please do not go to the EHF EURO 2022 venues for the safety of all.
Can I park next to the arenas?
Public parking is not available, so please use public transport to access the arenas.
