Squad lists for all Men’s EHF EURO 2022 teams released

Six weeks before the EHF EURO 2022, which start on 13 January, the 24 participating teams have named their initial squad lists. The co-host Hungarian team nominated a maximum of 35 players for the deadline. Each squad list contains a maximum of 35 players and will serve as the basis for the respective federation to select the 20-player squads participating at the EHF EURO 2022, together with eight officials.

Medals for the EHF EURO 2022 were unveiled

Clip premiere: here’s the official song of the EHF EURO 2022

Fight – that’s the title of the official song of the European Men’s Handball Championship, which will be co-hosted by Hungary and Slovakia in January, sung by Rúzsa Magdolna. The official “anthem” of the tournament is accompanied by a video clip with a unique atmosphere, featuring dozens of extras and professional dancers. The European Championship will start on 13 January 2022 in Budapest, Szeged, Debrecen, Bratislava and Košice.

Light test at the new Budapest Multifunctional Sports Hall

On Monday, an external lighting test took place at the new multifunctional arena in Budapest, the first major event of which will be the European Men’s Championship, co-hosted by Hungary and Slovakia in January. At the lighting test, the arena’s unique exterior lighting system bathed the facility in red, white and green, with 2,800 luminaires, a total of 3,300 metres of LED strip lighting and a 700 square metre projector.
